Range: New Mexico and Colorado, east to Maine, south to Florida (Riley et al. 2003).

Larval Hosts: Has been bred from the stem of Polygonum pensylvanicum (Polygonaceae) and has been found on other plant families (Clark et al. 2004).

Similar Species: There are 28 species of Kuschelina north of Mexico (Arnett et al. 2002).
