Range: Texas, Mexico

Flight Period: Specimens from every month except October & December in the TAMUIC.

Host: This species feeds on members of the gourd family Cucurbitaceae

Similar Species

This genus includes more than 60 described species. (Arnett et al. 2002).
However only two range north of Mexico:

Paranapiacaba connexa (J. L. LeConte, 1865) - TX / Mex.
Paranapiacaba tricincta
(Say, 1824) - AZ, Co, KS, NM, SD, TX, UT, WY / Mex.
